All abilities and all ages will enjoy this dance experience with professional ballet dancer Dawn Perrin. Now is the time to get that dancer’s body in a safe and nurturing class designed for all levels of dance.

Afro-Caribbean
We invite you to join us in a fun, energetic Afro-Caribbean dance class with live drumming! In this unique and spirited class for dancers of all levels, we will explore the dynamic, profound rhythms of the Caribbean with an emphasis on Cuba. Learn to move to the beat of the drum in a friendly, welcoming environment that is a fantastic workout for everyone. Experience dance styles as culturally rich and diverse as Afro-Cuban Santeria folklore, where we dance to emulate our deified ancestors (Orishas), Congolese Palo slave and war dancing, and Rumba's sexy social dancing. We will dance to carnaval rhythms such as Mozambique and Samba. The fundamental rhythms and dance moves taught in this class will serve as a basis for future dance instruction and help provide the confidence to dance in any social setting.

Mommy and Me Bellydance and Hula
Moms and any ladies who do not mind the presence of little ones, can come have a good time shaking their hips with the comfort that their children are close by. Any children ages 2 and up can accompany their mom for this class packed with fun music and movement.
Tuesdays 3:30-4:15 pm
Classes begin September 11. Open enrollment through May 2008.
