Explore paper, stickers and other mixed media to create your own hand-made greeting cards. Students will cut, stamp, color, paste draw to make several finished works of card art!

Art Smart
Literature based art featuring author Jan Brett
Students will hear each story and interact with the text in many creative ways. A variety of arts and crafts themed to match each story will be completed. Academic knowledge in the areas of Language Arts, Social Studies and Science will also be addressed to enhance the exploration experience.

Scrapbook Quilts
Students will cut paste and color-coordinate using a variety of solid and patterned scrapbook papers. In each session they will create a 12x12 paper quilt square using geometric shapes and following a simple set of instructions.

After School Art Academy
Dance, Music, Art, and Drama Sampler
Here is your chance to try all the visual and performing arts in one comprehensive program. Students will explore the arts with instruction in Dance, Music, Art and Drama two days a week! All materials included. Students will be dancing on Wednesdays and will need to wear clothes to move in.

Cartoon and Animation
Ages 8-13
Enter the world of 2D animation with Miss Pam! Learn to draw cartoon animals and characters, morph shapes, animate a walk cycle and many other animation basics.Students will draw, color, make flip books and animate a sequence that will be put on a cd.

Art Safari
Ages 6-10
Explore the world of animals with Miss Pam through fun arts and crafts. Students will "travel" through the 7 continents creating animal masterpieces and learning about the creatures they share the planet with. Students will explore drawing, painting, create mini habitats, make sculptures and other 3d materials.

The Art of Magical Creations
Ages 6 - 12
Create art that takes flight. Learn to draw and paint Fairies, Pegasus, Dragons, Butterflies, Cupids, and other winged creatures. Make Flower fairies from flower petals. Dragons from felt. Paint and adorn Pegasus
in sparkling materials. Make Cupid pens. Butterfly magnets. Join Miss Pam in creating 2d and 3d magical art.

Art Lessons for Adults
Whether you've never had a lesson or it's been a long time and would like a refresher course, this is the class for you! We will start with the basics, such as value shading and color blending, then build in the rest of the elements of art. Treat yourself to a fun and relaxing evening of drawing, painting and creating.

Photography
Photography for Adults
This six-week course will introduce you to photography and set you well on your path to creating those truly stunning shots. The first hour of class will be spent learning about the concepts of photography: light, framing, composition, aperture, shutting speed, ISO, and camera functions. We will spend the second hour working with our cameras, putting into practice what we learned in class. Students will share their photos in class and positively critique each other's work. Come learn all about creating that truly stunning, perfect shot!

Photography for Kids
In this five-week course, kids 8 - 14 years old will learn the basics of
photography - from using a camera to the art form of photography. Using
example photographs shot both by professionals and the students themselves, we'll learn about light, framing, and composition: the key ingredients to any photography. We will complete fun projects to learn how photography can be used to tell stories, create or depict emotion, or simply entertain.
Students will use their own camera to take photos that we will all share in class.

Cooking
Cooking and Science Experience (2 years and over)
Kids will get the chance to use their experimental skills creating crazy concoctions and maybe even some edible treats. They will learn to use kitchen equipment and a little about preparing some special treats all on their own.

Classes begin September 14. Open enrollment through May 2008.
